It is a beautiful RED chocolate cake. There are a couple of ways to ice this cake, I prefer a thick cream cheese frosting

Red velvet cupcake (cocoa cake dyed red) topped with either cream cheese icing or vanilla icing (either way is wonderful :)

Vanilla buttercream swirled on a vanilla cupcake
